Hooray for Books is the third book in the Hooray series. The Return of the Jedi of books, but without the Ewoks dancing at the end…. which as a kid I actually liked.

In many ways all three books are some memory about Charlie. Charlie was an avid reader and just loved books and stories. He would have us read the same story, then share it with his grandma and grandpa, his aunt, the dogs. Everyone had to hear it.

It makes me think about growing up with one television where everyone watched the same show. During the '84 LA Olympics every store and restaurant had it on. Same event, same anticipation, same shared story. I miss that.

One thing, everyone watching together.
