Adurable:
Pups in Trucks
Bob Shea was one of the first authors to reach out to me when I was just getting started. That kind of thing means a lot when you're new and still wondering if you belong.
We met over dinner and a trip to Daiso, where Bob blew ten dollars on stationery and erasers. I knew I liked this guy. We also found out we both owned very sensible Honda CRVs. So when Bob came to me with a series about puppies driving construction trucks, I didn't need much convincing.
Bob's whole thing was that these pups should feel like real toddlers, not heroes.

“Won’s adorable doggies in their sunglasses and trucks are clear toddler fodder.” — Kirkus Reviews
“This story lends itself to conversations about paying attention, working together, and making mistakes. Toddlerhood lessons in an 'adurable' puppy package.”
— Kirkus Reviews
“Shea’s smartly wry narration, coupled with Won’s unlined digital art, are the ideal vehicle for this tale of cheerfully indefatigable protagonists, construction equipment, and revelation—a deadpan board book delight.” — Publishers Weekly
